Singing Proud Spring Concert

Singing Proud Spring Concert

Singing Proud, Nottingham’s LGBTQ+ choir, makes its debut at Nottingham Arts Theatre with a vibrant mix of musicals, pop classics, protest songs, and pieces resonating with the LGBTQ+ community.

Highlights include repertoire for Various Voices in Brussels 2026, featuring a specially commissioned work created with Midlands singer-songwriter Katy-Rose Bennett.

Singing Proud will be joined on stage by Nottingham Clarion Choir.

Proceeds from ticket sales and donations will support LGBT asylum initiatives.

LGBT+ refugees and people seeking asylum often need specialist support to access services and safely connect with others. Your donations will allow Kairos and Nottingham Refugee Forum to reduce isolation and organise more support and advocacy for LGBT+ individuals seeking safety. This can be life-saving for people fleeing violence and persecution.
