Create - Grow - Learn
Nottingham Arts Theatre Youth Group reformed in March 2019, thanks to funding from the lottery. We cover a range of disciplines including drama, dance and singing with students aged between 8 and 18.
The ethos of the group is to create an environment that allows our young people to grow, learn and be creative. We are passionate about providing access to theatre and developing skills, while always being adaptable to individual’s journeys and being led by our young people. We aim to improve confidence, nurture talent and encourage our young people by providing opportunity and a safe space to explore through creative exercise.
We work towards two performances a year, allowing our young people to share their work with friends and family, showcase their talents, as well as experience performing to a live audience with full theatrical and technical support.
Tutor Team
Our leaders are all fully DBS and chaperone trained as well as having received formal training and qualifications within the performing arts industry.

Do you want to work with a professional singing teacher and musician?
We are VERY pleased to announce the launch of our NAT Youth singing troupes!
We think the term “choir” doesn’t really fit what we are hoping to create and instead we will have two troupes, aptly named the Songbirds and Songsters who will learn fresh new musical theatre and popular music songs, working on harmonies and towards performances in our showcases.
To become part of our singing troupes, you do NOT need to be a NAT youth member. We know that some people are still on our waiting lists holding out for a place in our main sessions, so this is your chance to get involved sooner. These sessions are open to ALL and will be very much on a first come first served basis. We have limited places in each group and once they’re gone, they’re gone!

Saturday mornings during term-time only.
